The circuitry logic is time-set programmed and has four rotation settings:

1. The cushions will turn clockwise for 2 minutes and then rest for 6 minutes and repeat
2. The cushions will turn counter-clockwise for 2 minutes and then rest for 6 minutes and repeat
3. The cushions will turn clockwise for 2 minutes and then rest for 6 minutes; then turn counter-clockwise for 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes and repeat
4. The cushions will turn clockwise for 5 minutes then turn anti-clockwise for 5 minutes repeating this alternate rotation for 3 hours and then rest for 9 hrs and repeat the cycle again-  (This setting allows the winder to be placed on the bedside table and set the 9 hrs resting period to coincide with sleep-time- total silence!)

These settings ensure that the main spring is tensioned and then unwinds during rest periods similar to a watch being worn on the wrist and comply with all automatic watch manufacturers' minimum required TPD (turns per day) specifications
